I’ve talked about the sleek highlighter palette so much so I’m not going to bore you all again ha ha but I will say if you love highlighters then you need this one, it’s so amazing and affordable for £10! Next I have this sleek eyeshadow palette in a new day, it’s a gorgeous neutral palette with a selection of nudes, gold shimmers and a few warmer toned shadows, This is such a nice basic palette for everyday looks and only costs £8.99. I’m really loving sleek at the moment they have got some really good products!

face products I’ve been loving, the collection illuminating foundation which is by far my favourite drugstore foundation ever, its medium to full coverage and its so illuminating and dewy, I’ve got the shade porcelain which is a good match. This is only £5.99 and is always on offer.  The Nivea aftershave balm I talked about recently in my monthly favourites, I’ve been using this as a primer and absolutely love it, it’s always on offer so if you fancy giving it a go Id recommend trying it, I really like it as a primer I feel like it gives a flawless finish to my makeup. Nip+fab plumping serum I have been using this since before christmas last year and I love it, I use it as part of my morning skincare routine and its a must have for dry or tired skin, this is a little pricey at £19.95 but it’s always on offer for about £10 sometimes less. Lastly is the NYX dewy setting spray, I love using this when I don’t feel like using my MAC fix plus, its good for lots of things setting makeup, spraying brushes to intensify eye shadows and highlighters, this is £7.00 and can be found at boots.

one of my recent purchases I’ve been really liking is the Maybelline master contour stick in light, one side is for contouring and the other is for highlighting, and I actually really like the shade, normally drugstore contour products just don’t work for me, they’re always so warm for my skin tone but this is a really good match for me and blends really nicely, same with the highlighter shade. This is £6.99 which I think is a good price. Next is the Master concealer, this I actually got in America I’m so gutted this hasn’t arrived in the UK yet, why do the US get all the good stuff?? it’s the best concealer for covering spots and scars this is my holy grail concealer and I use this over my higher end products, I’m nearly running out of this which is depressing me.

A couple of brow products that are a must if you are looking for higher end dupes, first up is the Loreal brow artist plumper which is a dupe for the benefit gimmie brow! this has fibres so it makes the brows look fuller same as the gimmie brow, this is only £5.99 and I believe gimmie brow is about £18.50!  Nyx micro brow pencil in my opinion is the exact same as ABH brow wiz. I’ve got the brow wiz and love it but if you are after an affordable dupe then this is it, the packaging is almost identical as well plus this is only £7.00 and the ABH brow wiz is £15.50 bargain!!

In the swatch L is the brow gel in medium/dark and R micro brow in Ash brown

can’t forget the lip products now can I? I’m a massive lipstick junkie, I really love the NYX liquid suede’s they aren’t drying at all and I’m praying they bring out more shades as I need them all, they don’t dry down completely which I love, this is the shade sandstorm which a brown tone nude. Milani cosmetics Matte lipstick in naked is a lipstick I’ve been going to a lot its the perfect nude for everyday, I’ve got a lot of rimmel and Maybelline lipsticks that I also love but I thought this one was worth a mention. its £5.99 and available from here as Milani have launched in the UK now yay, I’ve recently just made an order that I will share with you in an upcoming post.

NYX is quickly becoming my favourite drugstore brand! I have a few of suede liquid lipsticks and sandstorm is one of my faves. The sleek solstice palette has been my go to lately, i think it definitely rivals some higher end ones. I’m intrigued by the Maybelline contour stick, its been added to my list 🙂 xx

So sorry I’ve only just come across your comment, yes me too I’m so glad it’s easier for us to get in the uk now even if we was behind everyone else, the suede lipsticks are my favourite! I agree with you on the sleek highlighter, it’s amazing, I’m so impressed with it. Xo

I nearly bought the NYX eyebrow pencil the other day but there wasn’t a tester and I was worried it would be too red – but I’m tempted to go out and buy it now I’ve seen your swatches! The maybelline contour stick looks great too, such a good idea to have both products in one easy to use stick.

That NYX brow pencil is so good, I winged it with the shade as I prefer ashy shades and luckily it’s a good match lol 🙂 I prefer the contour side on the maybelline stick but it’s definitely worth a try for the price, I hope you like it too xo

Oooh some really fab favourites here! I bought the nivea shaving balm, but I still haven’t tested it out yet! After reading this I definitely think I’m going to have to give it a go when I get home! I’d be intrigued about the Maybelline contour stick, I didn’t think the shade would work properly for me either, but I will have to check that out next time I’m in Boots and give it a swatch! The concealer sounds amazing – hopefully that will come out in the UK soon! Great post xx

I thought the whole hype around the aftershave balm was a joke but as soon as I read the back I loved it, haha wanted it as a face cream alone but I just love the way it makes my makeup look. They didn’t have testers in that maybelline stick where I was so I just winged it but luckily it’s a nice shade and not too Muddy looking. I’m praying they bring the full master range to the uk it’s amazing this concealer! Thank you, and thanks for reading xo
