Madame LALA Tan

Madame LALA Tan

I’m afraid to say that it doesn’t look like summer is arriving anytime soon in the UK, although the weather is miserable I still like to have some colour in the summer months, I just feel more confident wearing tan, I’ve tried so many over the years,  but I always like trying new ones and today I want to talk to you about Madame LaLa that I’ve recently tried.

If you haven’t seen or heard of Madame lala its a self tanning skin care brand, and the idea is having an LA Malibu Tan in a bottle. what’s different about this tan you might ask? well it actually has a combination of skin care benefits including coco water, Aloe, Green tea, and Vitamin E sounds good right? so it doesn’t just give you a LA tan it actually hydrates and makes your skin feel smooth at the same time, which I like the sound of as tans actually dry my skin out, plus who doesn’t want a bronzed LA tan without leaving your home?? urm I do!!

Madame lala are actually collaborating with Alexandra Wang for Paris resort season, which is pretty cool we all know who Alexandra Wang Is, I was contacted by Madame lala and asked if I wanted to get involved and try some of this tan, obviously I said yes, I love my fake tan and I’m always eager to try new brands, I’ve actually also seen this brand mentioned in a few magazines lately, it seems to be very popular with celebs so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

I got sent the normal self tan mousse, it also comes in Light for paler skinned girls, and they also have one for the face, although I am pale myself I always buy the darker Tan as I actually struggle getting tan to take to my skin, I always look so dark before it comes to washing it off and I literally cry because it all washes down the plug hole. I have no idea why this happens but I’m always trying to find tans that take well to my skin.

straight away I loved the packaging it’s so sleek, what’s not to love about white, black and gold, this is my ideal packaging it looks so elegant, we know how much I love white & gold so the packaging is a thumbs up from me.

It’s your standard pump applicator, which is easy to use, its recommend to leave on for 10 hours before showering but does start to develop after 3 hours, this is ideal for me as I always love applying my tan in the morning and washing off just before I go to bed as I don’t like sleeping in tan plus I have white bed sheets LOL, it claims to last 10 days which is pretty good for a self tan.

I made sure to prep my skin like I always do before applying fake tan a week prior, exfoliating, moisturising etc

It applied really easy, I used a mitt as I find this easier and gives a nicer finish, one thing I did notice was it applied different to other tans I’ve used and I could differently tell it had the skin care benefits in,  I really buffed it into the skin and had to work quickly. The guild tan wasn’t as dark as what I was expecting it just looked very natural and not at all orange.

After 3 hours

Next day

I did start to notice after 3 hours It was developing so it does pay to leave it on for the whole 10 hours recommended, I mean everyone’s skin is different this tan might be a lot darker on others, but on me it looks like a nice natural tan, not orange at all which is nice for when I’m just wanting some colour.

Overall I’m really impressed with this tan, I’m currently sitting here writing this post looking like I’ve been out in the sun for a few weeks, maybe people will think I have actually been to LA? LOL I can dream!

I really like the natural colour I’m left with and I can see myself loving this tan this summer.

If you are interested in trying this Tan it can be purchased from superdrug, urban outfitters, thisisbeautymart,  for £30

Le me know if you have tried this Brand before or have any Tan tips and recommendations.

    Hey girl!

I love self tanning so much. I used so many different products, from St. Tropez to St. Moritz, I even bought a self tanning machine haha The Madame lala Tan looks also very interesting, I love the tube and the colour on your skin.

Am glad I clicked on this – am pale myself and use to constantly use fake tan but recently switched to only using the gradual tans in moisturisers because, like you, I found fake tan to just dry my skin out so to know that there is now a tan that actually does good for your skin as well as tanning it, will definitely have a look for this one!

I have the worst skin when it comes to fake tan, I don’t know why but they just don’t take to my skin I have to really prep and mositurise weeks in advance ha ha but I’m really loving this brand though, it’s more on the pricey side for a tan but Its definitely worth it. Xo
