I Hope you all had a fab Christmas, I can’t believe it’s all over already.I know a few people don’t like these kind of posts but I love reading other people’s so I thought I would do my own. I know Christmas isn’t all about the gifts and I feel extremely lucky with all the gifts I received this year!
Olympus pen epl8
Now this wasn’t even on my Christmas list, not going to lie I did have my eye on it before Christmas but I had already purchased some lenses for my Sony so I was just going to make do with my old camera for a while but when I opened this up on Christmas Day I nearly cried! I was so shocked, It’s so beautiful and you can see why all the bloggers love it, it’s so stylish. I love the white and nude! Now I just need to learn how to use it properly as it has a lot more settings than I’m used to. So if any of you have a PEN please comment below some tips or other blog pages that have some tips and tricks! I took all these pictures for this post with the PEN but I’ve got a lot of experimenting to do still.
Olympus 45mm 1.8 lens
Not only did I get the camera with the standard 14-42mm lens I also got this 45mm 1.8 lens that all the bloggers rave about. I already had prime lenses on my other camera so I know how amazing they are. I can’t wait to play around with this. Again if anyone has any tips or lens recommendations let me know, I think I’ve got my eye on the 17mm next.
Olympus leather camera bag
The one thing I did really want was a camera bag and when I saw this on John Lewis I did ask Santa for it hehe, and even better it goes with my new PEN I love the nude interior as well. It has different compartments so you can fit lots in, plenty of room for the camera and lenses, its great. And the bag strap can be used a camera strap too. Plus it looks designer its got that celine/chloe vibe to it.
I didn’t expect this in a million years, Its huge almost the size of my laptop! I think john secretly got it for me so I would stop using his, I’ve kind of claimed it as my own but not anymore! cant wait to set it up and start using it.
Michael kors instax camera
I’ve always wanted an Instax, and I couldn’t resist this gold Michael Kors one, if you read my wish list post you would know this was on it! I Cant wait to get capturing, I love the fact I can create scrap books etc with these instant pictures.
Sail England leather personalised camera strap
I had been looking for a nice stylish camera strap and Sail England caught my eye. So happy that Santa was good to me this year and knew exactly what I wanted, It’s even got my name on it too. And you can’t go wrong with nude!
I got lots of makeup bits, but I didn’t actually ask for much this year, I know shock horror! I do really want to try to cut down on buying so much makeup in the new year, I say this but who knows I can’t seem to help myself.
Bits I did get
tarte pro glow palette
Tarte radiance ritual set
Kylie bronze kyshadow
Kylie makeup brushes
Zoeva nude spectrum blush palette
loreal pro glow foundation
ABH brow definer and brow pen
Personalised makeup bag
Artis oval 8 and palm brush
I also got some skin care goodies including pixi beauty and a Glam glow gift set.
T3 convertible hair Tong
I have followed T3 for years and all the american youtubers and bloggers rave about this brand, I love how stylish it is with the white and rose gold detail. I love curling my hair so I did put this on my christmas list and I was extremely lucky to get it, I like the fact you can buy different attachable heads for it too.
I also got a bunch of other random stuff like vouchers, hair care goodies, some new cool toned light bulbs for my vanity mirror and also some other camera bits and bobs like books for my Sony, and a new cool flexible tripod. cant wait to play around with it!
I hope you enjoyed this post, like I said I enjoy reading others so thought id share my own, no way am I bragging and I hope my readers and followers would know I would never do that. Hope you all had an amazing christmas and have a very Happy new year!!
I shall see you in 2017!!!
