Magnificent metals glitter & glow liquid eye shadow
So I am absolutely obsessed with glitter, I can’t get enough, and I’ve been waiting for these Stila magnificent metals glitter & glow to launch in the uk for what feels like ages now but finally they have arrived and I was straight on the Stila UK site putting in my order. These are part of the new spring glitter underground collection.
I did only order 3 although I wanted them all but at £23 each I just couldn’t justify it (poor problems) so after spending ages On instagram looking at swatches I decided on
Golden Goddess – Antique gold with silver & gold glitter
Kitten Karma -champagne with silver and copper glitter
Rose gold retro – true rose gold with silver glitter
I think kitten karma is my favourite out the bunch, and I am so obsessed with the pigment and formula of these I already want to buy more (its ok I wont eat this month) I love liquid glitter eyeshadows that have a base colour and are really pigmented as I do find using loose glitter really messy and it irritates my eyes, like I said these are really pigmented and contain loose glitter but you don’t even notice it as the formula is really creamy in texture.
It has a really nice small applicator, that makes it easy to apply and blend, it also picks up lots of product.

don’t they look amazing?! so pigmented and sparkly! I was blown away with the pigment, drying time and staying power. They are a liquid but do dry down really quickly.
My only little complaint is that the gold is a little inconsistent in formula to the others, it seems a little bit more chunky and glittery, and doesn’t seem to have much base colour to it which is a shame as the other two are so amazing. But don’t let that put you off, these are gorgeous and so intense, be prepared for some fall out but that is to be expected as these are packed with glitter.
Stila Magnificent metals foil shadow
While I am talking about these I thought I would mention about another Stila product I picked up from my Stila counter at M&S, I have been after these for so long now but again they are a little expensive £33.50 for one eyeshadow is a little crazy, I don’t think I’ve ever spent that on one eyeshadow (Whoops) but it’s definitely worth it. Not only do I love glitter but I love foil shadows and I loved the idea of these.
you can do lots of things with this, use it alone or mix it with the liquid primer to create a more intense foil shadow, the liquid primer actually preps and primes and is a great adhesive for the eyes especially when using foil and glitter shadows. The mixing tray is exactly that, you can add the liquid and mix the foil shadow to a more wet foil/metallic finish.
I picked up the shade Kitten which is a nude /champagne sort of colour but also looks rose gold in some lights. It’s a stunning shade and I’m really glad I went for this one.

If you follow me on social media you will know I’ve been going on about these non stop, I am definitely impressed. So glad I’ve added these to my Stila collection its such a great brand and I havent been disappointed with anything I’ve tried so far, I’m also so excited as my local M&S counter has finally updated the Stila section with all the new products and also the all day liquid lipsticks shades, it’s about time as they never had the full range so I’m really excited to buy a few more bits when I have the money.
