Lottie London Shimmer Squad

You know when you find something that’s so affordable and amazing you think, why didnt I try this sooner and also why dont more people know about this?! well this was my exact thought when I recently picked up this Lottie london shimmer squad, I had heard a few things about it and was browsing all the makeup in superdrug, like you do, when I came across Lottie london, straight away I spotted the shimmer squad and thought how beautiful all the shades looked and how each one could work for my skin tone, which isn’t very often as Im pale.

Here is the palette, isn’t it so cute?! I love the packaging and the fact it comes with a mirror.

I was swatching it in the store and couldn’t believe how soft and buttery it felt, and it was so pigmented too. for £9.95 I actually thought it was pretty reasonable for 4 highlighter shades in a cute compact like this with a mirror, plus I was blown away by the pigmentation and formula. I picked it straight up and headed for the checkout!!

And while playing around with this at home I realised something, one of the shades in here is pretty much Identical to the Jeffree star & Manny MUA highlighter eclipse that I recently bought and reviewed. If you read that post then you will know that I absolutely love the shade but not the actual formula, so I’m very excited that this is a dupe, I compared them on my Instagram stories and they were pretty identical. I would buy this palette for that shade alone!!

The shade I’m talking about is The Good girl, it’s a gorgeous Icy peachy pink shade. Then you have The trouble maker that’s your typical white pearl shade that’s great for fair and pale skin, then you have The queen bee, which is a champagne gold, it almost reminds me of champagne pop a little bit from Becca. And then lastly you have The flirt which is a darker bronze tone gold.

Also How cute are the names??

if you’re a highlighter junkie like me or looking for a new affordable highlighter palette I definitely recommend this one. I dont think your be disappointed.

it’s available from superdrug here

Thanks for reading beauties xo

I’ve been wanting to try this for ages but I keep forgetting to pick it up. I swatched it in store and fell in love with the two lightest shades.

This is currently on my wishlist and I certainly need to pick it up as I am loving their foundations. The Troublemaker looks like it would be right up my street. I doubt I would use the bronzier shades for highlight, but it’s such a cheap palette it wouldn’t really matter I guess. Plus I could use them for eyeshadow.
