Probably the most sought-after palette right now that everyone wants to get their hands on. This New Nude Palette contains every blush, mauve, taupe and neutral shade you will ever need. As well as intense glitter and foiled shadows in a variety of shades. This is every girl’s dream palette.
If I’m honest, I would probably say it’s one of Huda’s best palettes to date if I’m honest. With a range of 10 mattes, reflective duo-chromes with shimmering pearl flecks, two glitter formulas and it even has a concealer shade for creating the perfect base to apply these glitter and foiled shadows.
I’m a sucker for anything nude, I love nude neutrals whether it’s eyeshadow, lipstick or blush. Nude is definitely my go-to shade, so this palette was at the top of my wish list and I gave in and ordered it straightaway as soon as it was available on Cult Beauty. I knew this would be very popular.
I honestly don’t think anyone will be disappointed with this palette, it has the perfect everyday shades and would also make a great palette to add to your kit. I can see brides absolutely loving this. Pink, berry and mauve shades are so in right now and this is a palette you could use all year round and get plenty of use from.
The shades swatched and applied lovely. Some were easier to apply than others and needed a little more building up. I loved the duo chrome shades with the pearl flecks, I have never seen anything quite like that in a palette before. They’re actually really soft and apply amazingly. Personally, I’m not too keen on the two glitter shades as I find them a little messy and patchy but I think these are more intended to use as eyeshadow topper. I recommend applying those with your fingers.
My only criticism is that I wish this palette had a couple more neutral beige shades or maybe a few browns and I think that would complete it for me. It wasn’t as nude as I was expecting when I swatched and played around with it. But I suppose it depends on your own idea of what nude shades are. I still love it and think it’s a gorgeous palette that anyone would love to add to their collection
I am a huge lover of liquid lipsticks and Huda has some of the best shades, especially the nudes! Her formula is also one of my personal favourites. So even if you’re usually not a lover of liquid lipsticks I think you will like these ones as they’re so comfortable to wear and the minis are great for on the go and to keep in your bag for touch ups.
This is The Au Naturel Nudes set. She has 2 other sets to choose from (Blushed Nudes and Power Pinks). This set has a selection of 4 different nude shades to suit everyone. Making this the perfect lip set to treat someone to for Christmas.
Trendsetter – Brown nude
Girlfriend -Warm apricot toned nude
Sugar Mama – Dusky rose-pink nude
Bikini Babe – Light toned peachy pink nude
All these shades are so wearable for different occasions and it’s nice to have a mixture of different toned nudes. My personal favourite out the set is probably Girlfriend.
The Huda Beauty Obsession palettes are amazing. For £25 they make the perfect gift or stocking filler. I also have the Warm Brown palette which I love. I find them easier to take for on the go and traveling and they perform just as good if not better than her bigger palettes. She has so many of these Obsessions palettes out now, so whether you love purples, greens, or reds you will be sure to find one you love.
I wanted to mention this one as I think it’s just the perfect palette for the festive season with these gorgeous shades. It just screams Christmas party season! The perfect palette to keep in your bag for any last-minute outings after work, this can create wearable daytime looks to a more sophisticated glam look for all you party-goers out there.
It has four vibrant duo-chrome shimmers and five creamy mattes. And the duo- chrome shimmers are incredibly creamy and pigmented. They give a really metallic foiled look to the eyes, which I think is a must for over the festive period.
“I wanted a product that would instantly hide my dark circles, spots, hyperpigmentation, and any redness. We packed the concealer with as much pigment as we could, and added light-reflecting spheres that have a soft, blemish-blurring effect.” Huda Kattan
The concealer everyone seems to be talking about right now and for good reason. If you’re after a new concealer and want good coverage to conceal any area’s you don’t like but still want your skin to look like skin then this concealer is for you.
I love a good coverage concealer that doesn’t leave my skin looking dry or cakey. I like it to be hydrating but still full coverage which is sometimes quite difficult to find. With this one it’s more of a natural finish but it has fantastic coverage. I didn’t find it drying at all and it also didn’t crease.
Packaged in a squeezy tube, with a metal applicator tip – which is designed to soothe and de-puff the under eyes which makes me love this even more. It’s easy to apply and you don’t get any wasted product. You just squeeze out what you need. I find this more hygienic as well as you can clean it off after each use, not like the sponge applicators with normal concealers.
It comes in 20 versatile shades inclusive for all skin tones. I have the shade Whipped Cream, which is the perfect neutral shade for fair-light skin tones that want to conceal but also highlight those under eyes.
Don’t leave your Christmas shopping until last minute….
So those are my must-have Huda picks for Christmas and what I think should be at the top of your Christmas lists. I know I would be thrilled with any of these under my Christmas tree!
